AMBER ALERT! Chicago girl, 13, is missing!

I was stunned to learn this morning that an Amber Alert was issued in the case of India Woods, a 13-year-old Chicago girl who has been missing since April 22nd, and we didn't find out until yesterday in an email. It didn't come from the police department but from a family friend.
This morning on WVON, I talked to the girl's mother, Sharnette, who said on that Sunday, India went to church with a friend and came back around 2:30 or 3 p.m. She was in and out of the house, visiting a friend of hers four houses down. The family lived at 105th and Eberhart in the Roseland community.
Sharnette was in the kitchen doing homework and her husband was in the garage. The weather was gorgeous that day and they decided to go down to Navy Pier. That's when they discovered India wasn' there. Her mother said she was wearing a white tank top and green and white hospital stirrups. For information, please call the Chicago Police Department.
